Notes on the use of mini touch switches in structural schemes

The structural scheme of mini touch switches often uses injection molded adhesive contact pieces with good metal dry contact and the opposite surface of the base assembly to prevent welding flux from entering the interior of the switch. Sometimes, surfactants are also used for sealing. A formed movable contact spring is installed in the center of the base, and the flange edge of the spring is connected to the fixed contact plate 1 inside the base. The pressure acting on button board 2 and button board 1 will make the movable contact spring and fixed contact plate 2 conductive. Due to the reaction force, the movable spring will return to its original position after the pressure is removed, completing the opening/closing function. The main function of key board 1 here is to transfer external force to the movable spring, so that the movable spring can work correctly. The function of key board 2 is to transfer force to the fixed contact plate 1 to complete the contact conversion action. The thin plate between key boards 1 and 2 mainly serves as a sealing function. Finally, all components of the mini touch switch are sealed by a partition and a cover plate.

Mini touch switch usage:

1、 When welding terminals, if a load is applied to the terminals, there may be looseness, deformation, and deterioration of electrical characteristics due to different conditions. Please be careful when using.

2、 When using through hole printed circuit boards and circuit boards other than those recommended, changes may occur due to thermal stress. Therefore, please fully confirm the welding conditions in advance.

3、 When performing two welding operations, please restore the first welding section to room temperature before proceeding. Continuous heating may cause deformation of the periphery, loosening and detachment of terminals, and reduced electrical characteristics.

4、 Regarding the setting of welding conditions, it is necessary to confirm the actual batch production conditions.

5、 This product is designed and manufactured based on the premise of DC resistive load.

6、 Please refer to the recommended dimensions recorded in the product drawing for the installation holes and patterns of printed circuit boards.

7、 Please use the mini patch touch switch for a structure where the touch switch is directly operated by a person. Please do not use it for mechanical detection functions. Please use your company's perception switch for the detection function.

8、 When lightly touching the switch, there is a possibility of damage to the switch if a specified load is applied. Please be careful not to apply more than the specified force to the switch.

Reminder: When manually welding the mini touch switch, the working conditions specified for the mini touch switch should be followed:

1) The power of the soldering iron should be less than 20W

2) The temperature of the soldering iron head should be less than 280 ℃

3) Control the welding time within 3 seconds
