At the end of May, in order to address the issue of incompatibility between major mobile phone brands in fast charging, the Telecommunications Terminal Industry Association released the "Technical Specification for Integrated Fast Charging of Mobile Terminals" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specification"), aiming to develop a standard for integrated fast charging of mobile terminals and promote compatibility between various fast charging protocols.

It is worth noting that Huawei, Xiaomi, and OV, the four leading domestic manufacturers, are also co initiators of this "standard", and have also received support from multiple terminal manufacturers and chip manufacturers such as Honor, Ruixin Micro, and Lihui Technology.

Previously, due to the use of a special private protocol for fast charging, Huawei users could only choose original products for super fast charging accessories, while using third-party charging accessories did not achieve the ideal charging speed.

The launch of the charger by Huawei also means that Huawei has started using the USB type-c interface and supports the USB PD fast charging standard.
