Different specifications and models of type-c mother seats may have different performance characteristics and applications. If we do not understand the relevant parameter knowledge, it is difficult to choose a suitable model correctly. Type-c6p mother seat fault detection method:

The circuit of the type-c motherboard interface is mainly composed of filter capacitors, inductors, south bridge chips, etc. Its interface circuit has a high failure rate. Common faults include the inability or abnormal use of the USB interface. The USB interface circuit generally has faults caused by the faulty soldering of the type-c motherboard socket, abnormal power supply, open inductance, short capacitance, and other conditions.

Operating steps:

1. A multimeter can be used for detection. Firstly, adjust the multimeter to the DC voltage position and reset to zero. Use a black lead to ground, and a red lead to connect to the voltage pin of the tested type-c bus. Normally, the supply voltage is around 5V.

2. Next, measure the ground resistance of the data pin and clock pin, which is normally 400 to 600 ohms. However, the ground resistance of the data pin and clock pin should generally not differ by 5 ohms.

3. If the type-c motherboard data pin and clock pin are abnormal. Then you can measure whether the capacitance, drain resistance and inductance resistance to the ground in the USB interface circuit are normal. Generally, the normal resistance is between 400-600 Ω. If these are normal, it is likely that the South Bridge components are damaged. Replace the South Bridge components.

4. If the interface circuit is abnormal, measure the fuse resistance. Normally, the fuse resistance is around 1 ohm. By following the instructions above, problems such as faults in the USB interface circuit can be identified and eliminated.
