This module adopts a separate design, with the power part and coil separated, and uses a USB C interface to support wireless fast charging of Apple Watch Series 7 watches.

Apple provides control modules and induction coil modules for MFi enterprises to purchase and produce.

From the schematic diagram, it can be seen that the control module adopts double-sided components with power input and output pads, making it easy for MFi enterprises to produce.

The wireless charging coil on the watch end is the same as the original magnetic suction wireless charging of the Apple Watch Series 7, and both adopt a structural design of wire welding connection to the coil. By using a design that separates the coil from the wireless charging module, the accumulation of heat is avoided, thereby improving temperature rise and enhancing the user experience.

Wireless charging combined with magnetic suction is a novel solution. The biggest change is that there is no longer a need to align the coil, resulting in higher charging efficiency. Apple has also launched two MagSafe wireless charging modules for the iPhone magnetic suction wireless charging application.
